Standard  Operating Procedure- Capacitior Panel

Switch "ON" feeder (Auto Operation)

In the  Panel keep the Selector switch for all capacitor bank  in auto mode

Check the indicators R,Y and B are glowing on respective  feeder of capacitor bank feeder

Check panel doors are closed switched ON main Incomer Breaker

Check and ensure that protective relays (Over current, Over/Under Voltage etc) are in normal mode.

Ensure that  OFF indication lamp is glowing

Ensure that rubber mats infront of panel is in place

Turn/push the  control switch/Start push button for "On" position .  The  ON indication lamp will also glow

ensure Off Indication is not glowing

Switch "ON" feeder (Auto Operation)

Turn/push the  control switch/stop push button for "OFF" position .  The  OFF indication lamp will also glow
