SOP Fire Pumps
Start/Stop of Hyd/Sprinkler Jockey pump in"Auto mode" mode
|
Ensure that power is available for Jockey pump panel
|
Switch ON the Jockey pump MCCB
|
Keep the selector swich in AUTO mode
|
Ensure that both inlet and outlet valves of the pump are in open condition
|
If the pressure in the FHS line drops below 7.5 kg/cm2 the pump will automatically START and when pressure in the line reached above 8.5 kg/cm2 the pump will STOP
|
When the motor is running ensure no water leakages in the valves
|
Starting the Hyd/Sprinkler Jockey pump in Manual mode
|
Ensure that power is available for Jockey pump panel
|
Switch ON the Jockey pump MCCB
|
Keep the selector swich in Manual mode
|
Ensure that both inlet and outlet valves of the pump are in open condition
|
If the pressure in the FHS line is below 7.5 kg/cm2.Switched ON the pump by pressing START push button on the Jockey pump panel (if the pressure exceeds 8.5 kg/cm2 pls switched off the pump by using stopping procedure
|
Ensure ON indication lamp glows on the panel visually
|
Ensure that pump is opearating and no water leakages in the water line
|
Stopping the Hyd/Sprinkler Jockey pump in Manual mode
|
Ensure that selector swich on the panel is in Manual mode
|
Press the STOP push button in the jockey pump panel
|
Ensure OFF indication lamp glows visually on the panel
|
Ensure that pump is stopped
|
