| Ensure standby pumps are in opeartion, if required | ||||||
| Apply Lock In & tag Out notice | ||||||
| Performance Check list | ||||||
| Inspect condition of shaft seal and for any leaks | ||||||
| If shaft seal is leaking, disconnect coupling and replace mechanical seal or repack seal | ||||||
| Check mechanical coupling | ||||||
| Lubricate motor and pump bearings | ||||||
| Check operating pressures from guage , if any , to ensure clean strainer. Clean pump strainer | ||||||
| Check tightness of foundation bolt | ||||||
| Remove cover of motor terminal box and check the termination and for any overheating | ||||||
| Check for any loose connection and tighten it properly | ||||||
| Check running load curent for all three phases | ||||||
