Standard  Operating Procedure- Air Circuit Breaker

Check the indicators R,Y and B are glowing on respective Incomer Panel

Check ACB spring is in charged condition by visually check  if not charge the spring by manual

Closethe  ACB on the ACB by pressing Close/ON push button,The indicator on ACB displays "Close/ON",this means breaker is closed.

The Close/ON indication lamp will also glow

Power can now be distributed to other feeders.

Air Circuit Breaker Operation (To Open the Breaker)

Push the Open/OFF button in the Air Circuit Breaker.The flag indicator on ACB displays "O".This means the Breaker is Opened/Off

The Open/Off indication lamp will also glow.

All recomondations of risk assessment to be considered during operation of ACB.
